Baumer OG120L.R-GW1O.7WL is a through beam sensor designed for precise object detection with a minimum size of 1 mm and repeat accuracy of 0.06 mm. It features a fast response and release time of less than 0.1 ms, and a hysteresis of less than 0.25 mm. The sensor is equipped with a potentiometer for sensitivity adjustment and uses a pulsed red LED light source with a wavelength of 660 nm. It offers multiple switching frequencies including 5000 Hz, 1500 Hz, 250 Hz, and 8000 Hz, and operates on a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC. The output function can switch between light and dark operation, and it includes a push-pull / IO-Link output circuit. The sensor provides short circuit and reverse polarity protection, and has a maximum output current of 200 mA. It is housed in a die-cast zinc L-profile with dimensions of 150 mm in width and length, and a penetration depth of 120 mm. The sensor connects via an M8, 3-pin connector and operates within a temperature range of -25 to +60 °C. It is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and water ingress.
